coolant leak
I have a coolant leak (D24). The leaky gasket is the old fibre type. I will be using a new steel type gasket.
question #1. Should I spray the gasket with a thin layer a sticky gasket sealer? question #2. Has anyone out there used the RACEWARE brand studs instead of the manufacturer type stretch bolts? |

If you are talking about headgasket I wpild never put anything on - i'd imagine if anything it would breakdown with the heat and hinder the seal.
Any info or links for the Raceware studs?
