Hmmm... so not a mindblowing amount, but a fair bit for what it is then...

On the subject of Volvo special tools -
From my experience prices of a lot of them don't seem to be that bad, I admit that I did make my own B200/230 crank pulley holder and it only cost a couple of quid to keep my local engineering firm sweet when I had a root through their scrap pile - but I'm lucky I can weld and have a small w/shop at hope and all the gear. In reality £28 isn't that bad - A decent chinese takeaway costs that in my village. However - I recently purchased all the cam belt and aux belt tensioning tools for my wifes 400 (9995434,5506,5436 & 1159660) and all 4 together were considerably less than £40 and that included v.a.t.!! I know we often moan about Volvo prices but if you need a special tool it's always worth giving the local stealer a ring - you might just be pleasantly surprised! Mollusk. |
