Fuel Cap
volvo main dealer is a good start. Will cost you in the region of £10 inc vat. Any good motor factor except halfords! (they're useless)
Universal caps exist they aren't a lot of cop as they don't seal correctly Charlotte |

I have seen several lockable, screw-in fuel caps on eBay recently (99p upwards + postage).

Fuel caps have to be lockable by law I believe... or at least for the MOT. I know that for fact as my car failed it's MOT for having a temp filler cap
I would look to Salvo or Ebay

Fuel filler cap for MOT

They don't have to be lockable for the MOT but they must seal, eg if the vehicle is involved in an accident and it finishes "not shiny side up" then the emergency services don't want to wade through fuel to get to you. That is why these universal caps are only for temporary, emergency use and will result in a MOT failure. |

Hmm Maybe i misinterpreted the MOT guy then! I stand corrected.
He'd said it 'needed the original cap, the one with a lock on it' I think the lock was probably just described so i got the right one then. That was on a Vauxhall Cavalier.. not that it makes a difference.
