Default 940 LPT Engine

Hi,
I have had to have the head on my 940 2.3 SE LPT skimmed and have got the the engine running. I am having trouble working out where the hoses for the turbo and inlet manifold go. Has anyone got any detailed drawings or pictures that will show me where they go.

Also the engine still seems to be overheating and water bubbles out of the expansion bottle. I have changed the thermostat. Could it be the water pump, as the engine did get very hot when the head went.

Please Help me!!

Hi,

Welcome to the forums, sorry I or no one else spotted this post before...
Have a look at my gallery as I have photos of the turbo and engine bay of my 940 SE HPT there.
The pipes should be the same as the only different between the two is the turbo pressure (which can be adjusted )...

If you are still over heating, then there maybe an issue with the cylinder head gasket, a blockage in the block or issues with either the pump or thermostat.
I would certainly check the pump and thermostat.
Maybe run a flush through the coolant waterways to make sure it is clear..

Des. . .
