You have V70 MY2010 with hydro drive tailgate.

From instruction:

On your remote the button that unlocks the car and the button that opens the tailgate will make the

Hi,

For some reason my module seems to have stopped working. The boot now only unlocks on the first long press and needs a second long press to open. It closes as normal but only from the button on the boot.

Took the boot apart and the loom is all connected and no physical damage but there’s no LEDs lit on the module. Anyway I have disconnected it and all working as normal now, but is there any more available to purchase? It was a great feature just a shame it’s stopped working!

I've started experiencing those issues as well. I find it seems to be only when the car is locked it happens.

Great for confusing the dogs who hear the first click and prepare to leap into the still closed door, but not so useful for loading your shopping.

I also have a 2012 XC70 and bought this module. It doesn't work as it should. It closes the tailgate as it is supposed to but it only opens it halfway and requires a second press of the button to continue opening all the way. It didn't behave like this when first fitted and so I assume that either one of the connections is not perfect or that the module is failing. I have yet to check the connections as it requires removing the tailgate lining. I have just disconnected the module and the system has returned to standard operating. I was bitterly disappointed as I thought the mod provided what Volvo should have put in as standard. I cannot say that I am confident in a fix, if it is the module, as I feel it probably requires a lot more development and testing before it can be released as reliable.
