Hi,

Something I have never thought about, should be the same just be careful when removing the outer trim as that is no longer available, also you may find that the windscreen is bonded in with a speacial sealer. I had to get mine replaced the other year through National Windscreens (bad chip due to a large stone while driving in Denmark).

same screen for 140/164 (excluding rare rubber type) and all 200 series to 1990ish (but that screen can also be used on later cars)

Sorry to jump in but the outer trim has come away in the corner of my father in-laws 1988 245GLT and I have seen new clips on eBay but just wondered if there is/are any tips on refitting the trim piece ?

I am hoping I can left the trim enough to replace the broken clip but wondered if its just as easy to completely remove the trim and replace with all new clips?
