Default Axle nut size and tension

Hi, two questions if anyone knows, can anyone tell me the size of the axle nut, on a 2001 Phase 2, 5 speed auto, engine B4204T3. As I need to buy a socket for it, I measured it with a steel ruler and it looks like a tight 35mm or a 36mm?
And what have you found the tension to be, I found 120Nm (89ftlbs) +60 degree rotation, then somewhere else I found 180Nm (133ftlbs) + 20degree rotation, which is correct?

Thanks George

There are 3 versions of this nut depending on model year of car ,, hence your various torques ... neither of the torques you quoted are correct .
you must use a new nut and tighten to 180nm + 30 degrees ... socket size 36mm .

Thanks for the size conformation Clan. Mine is mid year 2001 but it has the B2 B3 nut and it says 120Nm for those but for the yellow black washer it does say 180Nm. So if I get replacement nuts I should go for the yellows and tension to 180Nm. Or if I reuse my blacks ones do I do 120Nm?

Thanks George

yes yours would have the later nut .. but you must use NEW nuts due to the self locking properties .. so you would use the 180 nm + 30 Degrees ..
