Yea, i thought your receptionist was very nice and friendly! Better than the usual miserable git you get at other garages! Keep up the good work guys!

On a slightly different tack, I e-mailed you (Heritage Motors) via your web site but haven't had a reply.

I wanted to know whether your garage is experienced with CVT transmissions. I continue to have trouble getting my 1983 340 GL automatic to run properly and would like someone who really understands these things to have a look at it for me.

Many thanks,

Ed

Ed, pop over to V3m if you get a chance, we've got at least 2 CVT experts on there who'll try and point you in the right direction.

I think I've gone about as far as I can on my own... it needs someone to actually see the car, which is why I'm trying to find a garage that's knowledgable about CVT - there must be some old Volvo mechanics who've worked on them in the past still out there.

I wouldn't have thought it would make good business sense to have an on-line contact system and then to completely ignore it. I have still had no response either to my e-mail or my reply to this thread.

There is of course the old fashioned method of a telephone system!
