Default Brake pads, Brake discs, and alloy wheels

OK. I'm trying to work out exactly what discs \ pads my car needs. It's a 1990 ES with what I assume are solid front discs and Lucas calipers. Am I right here or would someone be able to determine what pads \ discs I need from the registration plate \ VIN?

Next, alloys. I have some 15" Taurus jobs. Will they fit in place of the standard 14"s and can I use the same nuts?

Jon,

If ever in any doubt about parts, speak with Simon (aka Rufe) @ FRF Volvo - he knows his stuff, and can usually offer a decent deal on price.

15" alloys were standard on the later 480s (like my Celebration), so should fit fine (current bolts should be fine also).

If I'm wrong I'm sure someone on here will correct me.

Rgds
