  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Thumbs up D5 timing belt tension

hi. I'm looking for
load on the cam belt (Nm) or (daNm)
and
cam belt deflection (mm)
for D5 205bhp engine

That's not how you do it .. It is very important you follow volvos instructions and that you ensure the aux belt and tensioner are changed with genuine volvo parts at the same time too .

Hi.I'm talking about timing belt not aux belt.
so i can use the timing belt tension tool when replacing timing belt.

I'm talking about the timing belt , volvo do not use that method to tension cam belts .. Just pointing out that it is the aux belt which you should be more worried about , cambelts give no problem until the Aux belt tangles around them
