Default egr valve

Tried to remove my oil separator box yesterday and the egr valve is in the way. I've read this has to be removed to get oil separator out. Has anyone else done this ? Is there an easy way ?

Cheers, Mark

Soak everything in a penetrating fluid. Undo the top and right pipe connections, the small vacuum hose on the left side, and then the jam nut on the right side that holds it to the bracket. Then you've got access to the two 12mm bolts that hold the bracket and oil trap in place.

Might have to undo the other end of the top pipe where it joins the intake manifold as well.
