Yeah the interior is good it just needs freshening up. Leather seats are still very comfortable as well. As above mine has a couple of mechanical issues to resolve also. Fingers crossed. Still to be expected I think.
Hopefully you will have a lot less mechanical issues than me ( although I think I am looking for them to give me something to do )

Having said that I did get mine for nothing and she had been dry stored for the best part of 6 years without moving much. I'm getting there though, and enjoying every minute of it

Well I've done well over 100 miles and so far it's only the squeaking (loudly) power steering belt and the Aircon which I knew about before I bought it. I can't match your price though !
I have really enjoyed driving it mind. I find it very relaxing for some reason.

I've just covered 1k in mine since Nov and your right they do waft along nicely.

I'm not going to bother with MBC etc I'm just going to get it sorted. My V70 D5 has 230BHP with Polestar which is fast enough for me

There's something about a good 7/9xx that is relaxing, whether it's the fastest or slowest model in the range, as long as the engine and gearbox are well maintained and it does what it's meant to, it's a relaxing car to drive.

Looking good Robin, those are one of my favourite styles of wheel on this model which really suit its executive status. Couldn't agree more with the relaxing comments.....you glide in this car.
I think you did very well for the price !
Nice 'cycle too ! What cc is that beast ?

Thanks Mark. Its a Yamaha Road Star XV1700. Bought it new 12 years ago and it was a grey import from the USA. Yamaha stoped selling them in the UK after 2003. It's been a great bike, bullet proof and in 12 years it's really held its value well. There are dealers selling used imports of similar age from the States for almost what I paid for mine new. Mind you two Dollars to the £ at the time was great !
I will be hanging onto it as there just isn't anything they are selling now that I like as much.

Well I hope so Mark. It allows me to spend a bit sorting one or two things.
