VIDA 2014d

Hello - I was wondering if anyone could help me regarding a VIDA fix please?

Having only used my VIDA/DICE installed laptop once last year, upon going to use it recently the usual log-in wouldn't work.

I can launch VIDA and I get to the Main Page where it asks for Username.
I input one of the two usernames (admin or 1), press log-in and a 'Please Wait' note comes up with a horizontal indicator. This gets to about 50% loaded then disappears.
It seems like it is trying to validate the Username but fails.
I have seen some posts about changing a (license) date and 'zip files' somewhere, but can't find where to do this.

Can anyone direct me in very non-computer literate language please!?

If you bought it from Simon on this forum then send him a message he will have a fix for it.

I don't know who 'Simon' is. However, I'm happy to pay a reasonable price if someone can provide a fix

He is on this forum as 'Cheshired5' (or similar) He supplies the VIDA/ DICE units and has a very good youtube instructional page.
