The Norse Meet (on 24th Nov) is an annual one, and is organised by the Ace. However as it is becoming well established in the calendar, others (like myself) spread the word on various appropriate forums, so there is usually a decent turn out of Volvos and SAABs. It started out on a weekday evening, but as it grew, turnout became enough for the Ace to give it daytime weekend slot.

n the dirt just proves m motor works for a living :P started out clean on the sunday night, went to cotswolds and back in time for ace cafe meet hehe

I think that if I didn't wash my car between now and the Norse day it still wouldn't be as dirty as your motor! It is a truly epic amount of motorway filth on there!

Looking forward to seeing the car in some light, the street lighting definitely didn't do the clean bits justice.

Still hoping to make it on the 24th, but I have tickets for a gig in Derby in the evening, so might have to bust a move fairly early.

The black grille with the AA badge on it has gone - minesa240x3 is having that one.

Everything else is still there. What I don't get rid of in Nov will be going on ebay.

I was just going to advise that that is the desirable one of the three, in case you weren't aware, so only to be given away to a deserving home (which, of course, Brian is!).

I'll do my best to turn up on the 24th, I've got work in the afternoon but I should be able to stay until 12 or so.

I'll have a boot full of interesting Volvo bits that I have cluttering up the space, I think I've got a moto-lita steering wheel boss for a 144/145, MISAB manifold set for a B20, a tired but restorable Group A eggcrate grille for a 240, a few Momo wheels and bosses (none Volvo!), and more miscellaneous 240 parts than you can shake a stick at! if anybody's interested in making a deal I'll have it all in the boot, if you promise not to laugh at all the lacquer peeling of the front of my 240!

Lowered the old girl last week, got new Avons on the back too.

I'll have to start a project thread on here sometime, she's come a looong way since the last ACE meet.
