Always best to ask! mine is down near the passenger side headlamp so not all models are the same.

I think your engine cover is missing?

Also a bit of a de-dust and wipe around with a plastic dressing product would look nice

Yeah it didn't have the engine cover when I bought it. It's on my list of things to replace but it's a pretty low priority. Yeah I do about 2500 motorway miles a month so the engine bay on every car I have is always dusty constantly lol.

you shouldnt, putting it up there is ,, a bit Volvo after all

mines down by the left hand headlight (2.4 petrol) and takes a whopping 6.5L , so by the time the dash says "fill washer bottle" you can forget where it is,

Headlight washer models get 6.5L bottles
non headlight washers models dont. *usually but it IS volvo

Seems like a better place for it rather than right next to headlamp electrics on the other models.

However the contents of your engine bay brings back bad memories of trapped air bubbles and 'engine system service required' messages.

On my Jeep the washer and expansion tank are right next to each other and they both have very similar looking plastic caps.... who thought of that???

I wonder how much washer fluid was circulating in my cooling system???

I hired a Jeep Cherokee in California. Damned if I could find the fuel cap release thing. Couldn't find it in the handbook and ended up looking on a Jeep forum...... You have to open the drivers door and it's a button Under the armrest. Glad I checked before I needed any fuel.
