Just wondering, as most other components on the car are handed, so if the sub was designed to fit on the NS, surely it would have to be rotated to fit in the same space on the opposite side of the car? Looking at this pic, I'd have said that the curved section was to accommodate the wheelarch?

Thinking about fitting one to mine, which doesn't have one, as far as I am aware....
PS, how much did it set you back?

The sub sits on top of the wheel arch, like in the pic below. I dont plan to mount it this way I plan to mount it vertically due to the fuel filler, if there's enough room.

The sub was £50, hopefully my friend will be able to wire it, then I'll find a way to install it.

Thats' what I meant about the curve, on the drivers side of the car, it will be the "wrong" way round, so to speak...

If you can't get it to fit, I'll have it off you lol...

Just called my electrician friend, he has had a quick look at it and said the optical input leads directly into a Digital to Analogue Converter(DAC), this then feeds and pre-amp. Soon as he gets some spare time he will try and trace the Pre-amp input and splice into it ready for the feed from the original sub ...
