Space Saver Wheel Size
Hi All,
I'm looking to get a space saver spare wheel for my wifes MY17 V40 CC T3. The car as standard has 17" alloy wheels. Does this mean I need a 17" space saver? Most available on ebay seem to be 16", but there is the odd 17" available. There seems to be a fairly big price difference, so just trying to work out which i need. Can anyone who has a space saver confirm what size they have? Thanks |

As far as I'm aware all V40s have the same size spacesaver spare wheel, with a tyre size of 115/90R16.
As it says in the vehicle handbook, the spacesaver spare is smaller than the normal tyres and for emergency use only, which is why maximum speed is limited to 50 mph if it is fitted. |

Will the space saver fit in the space below the boor floor, it hardly seems deep enough.

You may need to add the high level boot floor which you can buy as an accessory. I have a T2 petrol V40 which has a shallow wheel well and the space saver spare will only fit with the high level boot floor. |
