Buying S80, things to look for?
Hi
I've never had a Volvo before and I'm going to look at an S80 on Wednesday, any tips for things to look for? it's a 2.4 S80 1999/T reg with 79000 miles. I know it has a chip in one rear light cluster, how much is a replacement? Thanks Chris |

I am sure that the vendor would be happy to replace the light cluster lens for you to help him clinch the sale. You would have to ask the dealer, or German, Swedish & French, or Eurocarparts for the price. The dealer will be the most expensive. All the best, Peter |

My usual recommendation is to buy these cars from a Volvo dealer to benefit from the warrnty. I think you'll get 1 year for a car under 6 years old and 80,000 miles. Dealers also have parts departmentsthat can supply you with prices (Eurocarparts do not list one in their catalogue). You can also try speclist suppliers like Nordic.
