  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default VIDA / DICE and a 2015 car - Will it work?
I have a 2015 V70 (sorry, don't have the model year to hand).

I am aware that VIDA went over to an online system around 2014/2015

Does anyone know if there is a way to tell when a car will be detected by VIDA from say the model year or VIN (or another way!)

The last of the DVD based Vida will read up to 2015 model years including the new VEA engines . I would think it would work with 2016 and 2017 as long as you put in the cars details manually with the 2015 model year .. Anyone tried it ?

If you post your 17 digit VIN I can check for you.
I entered the VIN recently of a 2016 model year and Vida simply wouldn't decode it.

as I said above , as vida is a 2014-15 edition it won't have 2016 in its database .. enter the details manually as a 2015

Might be wrong but from memory, it was a newer XC90 so Vida wouldn't have any info at all would it?
