What's the protocol with such low mileages (if indeed there is one) do you skip a service or keep on with standard servicing changing the oil and filter (unnecessarily in my view) with such low mileage?

I have the same thoughts with my Peugeot 407 coupe, I have some years only done around 1k
but always get it serviced at the same time as the MOT. But since last year I now intend to sevice it every other year. I only use it really as a toy, so when I do drive it, I usually do at least 30 miles.
It's 8 years old November this year and has only done 22k. I bought it at 9 months old with 15k on the clock.
