Default Engine Mounts

Today, whilst driving through some hilly areas near me, I had some pretty serious shaking going on when pushing hard up those hills between 80 and 100 kph. If I backed off, it stopped. It wasn't felt in the steering wheel so I don't think its wheel balance or alignment issues. I recently had a mechanic tell me that my lower engine mounts needed replacing, but those Hutchison mounts were purchased (from IPD) in October of 2017 (at 200770 kms) and I have not done any heavy miles since then.
I had the drive shafts replaced in 2015 at 158000 kms.
Currently the car has 222500 on the odometer.
Any thoughts as what it could be?

Year, model and trim level help.

Which mounts did you have replaced? All of 'em or just one or 2?

I don't know if Hutchison mounts are good stuff or cheap junk. The 13,000 miles you've done may have been enough to destroy cheap mounts

Remember, removing the RF wheel and the 2 nuts and folding the fender liner back is the only way to inspect the one beneath the pulley.

Also, have you checked the level and condition of your transmission fluid?

I'm a firm believer in the economy of doing a simple drain & fill in order to get a good look at your fluid. Make sure to get the correct fluid.

My Hutchinson gearbox mount clearly had the word "Volvo" filed off. As do quite some other brands... Which says little about the used rubber, but I assume that is from the same production line as well.

Smile mounts

Kind of essential to know the engine/ year etc,

But there are 2 vaccum mounts that can degrade, you can test them by seeing if they hold vaccum with a mityvac, other than that there is the top mount, and also a couple of others, but then im assuming its a D5 here, and it might not be.. i would find out which mounts exactly that were replaced, often with mounts replacing a faulty one with a new more rigid one can cause more force to be applied to an-other mount resulting in it failing,

just my theory incase of any use,..

Sorry, Its a 2001 XC70 with the 2.4 turbo.
These are the mounts that were replaced in Sept 2017:
2 x Hutchinson Engine Mount 112761
1 x Hutchinson Engine Mount 112759
1 x Torque Mount 112366
I don't think they are vacuum type.

Be sure to also look at the wishbone, in particular the rear bush by turning and lifting a wheel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1QaJbyjr2s
