Default D5-215- geartronic transmission fluid change

Hi there ,hoping for a bit of advise, bought a car few months ago 2013 V60, D5 215 , 91K miles, awsome car all whistles etc,
2 weeks ago i've noticed when putting gearbox on D- had a rather big shake/jump from gearbox /engine, than later when driving everything smooth as it should be,
it just when i was moving in to Drive mode had that inicial jump and off you go,back to normal.
I've made appointment at dealer fo investigate and read if anything is happening, any faults stored
(In the meantime car kind of self healed itself and was fine until now)
But i went to check it anyway,
So verdict was: no faults found/ stored and advise to replace transmision fluid and apply newest software -£600
Now--- those transmissions should be maintenance free apparently ??? or with bigger kind of mileage should I do it anyway ?
What are Your thoughts guys, has anyone changed transmision oil on simillar gearbox ?
Thanks

Someone had this jumping problem before, worth doing a quick search for their thread

Hi I agree there are posts on this site in relation to this issue.

I have also got this issue, I have had my oil changed and also had the software upgrade, all was fine for a few weeks then it started again.

I havent persuid this any more I just have to put up with it.

I have a theory that it is gearbox oil temperature dependant, if I use sports mode when I tow then everything is fine going from Park to Drive, if I use normal mode then it happens.

Some suggest it is justa sticking solenoid which it could be but you would think if this is the case then it would do it all day every day which it doesnt.

I have considered getting an additional oil coller fitted but as yet havent got the cash to do it.

The posts also suggest that it isnt milage dependant some have the problem with quite low mileage my D% has 130000 miles on th clock.

Hope this helps!
