Nope. It was great to just do the job.

IPD USA have a decent enough video on YouTube so you get the general idea but they tell you there's no need to support the subframe as you're only doing one bush at a time.
I would advise against this and would always support it.

Replaced front wipers with 'Hybrid' ones from wipersblades.co.uk . Had the same on my 850 for a good while and I do like them

Taking into account cost (£18), difficulty (schoolboy level), time (less than an hour) versus improvement, it's probably the best job I've done on my car.
Oh and was that £18 per bush (£72) or total for 4? And if the later, where from!

Fuel filter sprang a leak, strong smell of petrol gave it away. Got one from local volvo dealer, £36 with vat, ouch! Easy replacement job for a change.

Started fitting the monster sized brakes on the V70, but this constant drizzle is annoying... Soaked to the skin without realising it.

1 out of 4 brakes done!

Went for MOT today, passed it but needed a couple of tyres which I knew about.

with a cold engine started and top hose was getting warm, thinking thermostat stuck open, ordered a new one with seal
