Have gone back to LV who quoted £280 for the same level of cover.
Did you just contact LV or use a price comparison site.

Used price comparison site; Money Supermarket, iirc.

Just picked up my new XC90 Inscription this afternoon and used their 7 day Insurance but will be swapping to my present policy on Monday morning. Very handy in the circumstances because until I saw the new car I did not want to cancel my present car just in case any problems. The new car ia very very nice and appears to be all in order so happy to take it. No problems swapping over the VOC and now works on my phone with the new car. Only took a couple of minutes for the garage to sort that out for me. My new 1 is Pine Grey and looks the bees knees with the Blonde interior.

I am with More>Than and they will always negotiate renewal premium. However when I had a bump in my V50 they insisted I used one of their registered repair facilities (they were so bad I can't bring myself to use the word garage or body-shop).

If I went with Volvo Insurance does it mean that any accident repair work would be done by Volvo?

Have gone with AA and it has come out at roughly the same as I paid last year. Happy with that.

Hope my broker can deliver the same. Hell of a price for a 400 BNP £60 k car.

I have remained with LV at £284 for my latest XC60 per below spec, been with them for over 10 yrs & never once had any issues.

One thing to take into consideration, is that some Insurance Companies, in a claim replace the car for a new one with in the first year.

I would have gone with LV but their website was down yesterday and they could not do it over the phone either. I am glad as the AA one was £5 more but you get more cover and the courtesy car is included and they seem to have high ratings.
Always worth checking the difference and unfortunately there is no loyalty with insurance by staying with one.

The quote I got implied it did. Yes £360 with eu cover, genuine volvo parts and repairs at Volvo repair centres, courtesy car, windscreen cover included, 24 hour recovery, personal injury cover, child seat replacement cover, uk call centre!
