Volvo Insurance is £1016 - it's actually underwritten by LV, so that makes sense.

Pleased that living "out in the sticks" has a double whammy of costs savings v living in London.......
1. Substantially cheaper Insurance.
2. Cheaper wheels/tyre sets as you just cannot drive on 20" or greater wheel sizes on many of the rural lanes in Shropshire/Mid Wales as the potholes would eat up those black rubber band tyres for breakfast.

This years quote for the V90 has increased by £120 via Aviva. Now looking at quotes circa £550, lowest being with Churchill. LV quoted double.

I guess in a way it's pointless to compare because we all have different circumstances. Interesting to see the spread though! Not putting my daughter on an old man's policy though!

Have you seen the potholes and speed ramps/humps in Islington & Hackney??!
Seriously low/high enough to damage even high riding cars - especially when fully laden! Pre Volvo days, my old Peugeot 406 went through 3 exhausts in 4 years!
