Day one issues ☹️☹️
So today I had delivered my new V90 R Design Pro and it’s not turned out best start to our relationship.
Having had one on loan for 2 weeks previous, I kind of knew what to expect and was pleasantly surprised by what must have been a system update becuase everything seemed a lot better in terms of user interface. Senus felt more organised with everything together becuase the loaner had large gaps between clusters of icons and know where near slickness of the germans but this now seemed far better in everway or at least it did until it froze 😤😤 I was setting up the Volvo id and it displayed a terms screen with accept or decline but then became unresponsive and no matter what I did like wait for 30mins lock the car etc the same screen was there when I returned. I could still access the settings from swiping down and change the temp settings but not accept or decline the terms. After an hour or so I took the plunge and hit factory reset as I had no choice and now it’s gone back to how the previous car was. This would not have been to much of an issue if I wouldn’t have experienced the updated one missing icons and just feeling a little disjointed. I also have now noticed the Blis does not really pick up vehicles on the near side maybe like 1 in every 10/12 that I pass and to make things worse the sat Nav sensus screen froze for a while after the reset but the one in the clocks worked. As it stand it now has 178 miles on the clock and has its 1st visit back to the dealer booked for Monday which as really put a downer on the day and taken the excitement away. Just didn’t expect issues on day 1. |

My day one issues (yesterday) were a scuffed alloy before even driving it and a car with just 10 miles on the clock that furiously shakes at over 60mph. Also had issues with the Volvo ID..! MY icons are all over the place too, wonder if they can be organised?

Yes, you can organise the icons and move them around. Just press and hold the icon and drag it to where you want it.

Mine has been like that for 2 years. I've raised it with the dealer a couple of times but they say it's operating to spec as it will only show vehicles on the nearside if they are approaching faster than the speed you're going and therefore likely to 'undertake'.

software time is variable on PDI you might be lucky and it could be up to date and need none at all , on the other hand it may have been hanging around somewhere and need the full 50 minute job . typically it is fairly short these days though .

I don’t know if I am in unrealisticly picky mode given the senus problem and reset and looking for faults that are not there but can’t say I noticed an issue with the blis on the loan car I had. |
