  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default RTTI not working

Anybody having issues with RTTI the last few days? I'm located in Ireland.

Mine stopped showing up on the maps over the weekend and hasn't come back. I was on maps 1230, have upgraded to 1233 and no difference. It's not the Internet connection as Spotify and TuneIn etc are working ok.

I think it was working for me over the weekend but wasn't yesterday and possibly Monday too.

Working for me.
It worked yesterday and today I updated the maps and still working, as normal.
Could it be a local issue?

It might well be local - if there is anybody else in Ireland on here, can you let me know if it's working for you? I might try the On Call button tomorrow and see if they know anything about it.

RTTI back online for me today, I didn't do anything on my side so I guess we can expect issues from time to time. dchbrown - is yours working today?

Unable to check as the vehicle i had over the weekend was on loan to be for testing. Sorry.

I was interested in your RTTI problem and had a look at the Traffic Information Providers and for most countries, INRIX provides the information over the internet, but for Ireland, Traffic information is via the FM Band, see attached link:

Can you confirm this is correct?

I am Ireland based and I noticed that RTTI went off line about Friday (14th Sep). It came back last night when I was in the last few KMs of a 500Km journey. I thought it was just another Software bug.

INRIX definitely provides the RTTI service as without an Internet connection you get no Info at all.

Apologies if this is a silly question but how do you know if it’s working or not. The RTTI option is ticked in the setting but can’t see anything referring to it anywhere else.
