4 Good 15'' Tyres on steelies
I have 4 good or should i say brilliant tyres on steel rims going spare, each have 6 or 7mm of tread on each wheel so they are fully legal, the steel rims are a little rusty hear and there, but nothing that a wire brush dremel cannot take care of.
The tyre brands are pirelli, continential and bridgestone, they all hold air and each month i take them to a garage and keep the air pressures up (32PSI) I'm asking £30 for all 4. They're just lying around in my shed taking up room. PM me if your interested, where i am located is easy to get to, unfortunatly i cannot deliver as i'm mostly at work during the day and weekends. If you cannot pm, leave a message on here and i'll pm you my email address. |

Would they be suitable for a 240? (normally 14" steel rims, but some had 15")
What are the profiles?

I'm not too sure about the suitability of them on the 240.. my guess is the speedo may be slightly lower reading... |

I did have them on at £45 buy it now or auction begin at £30...nothing! They are just taking some room up in the shed and i have a spare tyre already in the car...also it would take me longer to wear down my first set of tyres before these spares would be used... |

Hi,
Those steel rims would be perfect for a set of winter tyres for my trusty 240. At £30 I will definitely bite your arm off! I'm in Birmingham, not far away and am travelling north on either 21st or 22nd anyway so ideal to collect. If you'd like I can send the money this afternoon by paypal. Best wishes, David |

You can pay by cash on arrival if you like, one of the rims is a little more rusty that the others, i'll pop some pictures up possibly tommorow, I'd personally keep the rubber tyres even when you pop on the winter tyres on the rims, as these tyres only look like they have only been used for 200-300 miles... I'll PM you my Address again, its very easy to get to. |
