Default dpf replacement

(2004-07 s40 2.0d) Recently got my dpf replaced and the tank refilled, but the car keeps going in to limp mode. I got the dpf replaced at a local garage but dont know if the ECM was reprogrammed. Would this cause this sort of problem? im also getting a fault code about a sensor in the additive tank needing illumination.

Is my problem to do with the dpf or could it be the catalytic converter or one of the many other faults that cause limp mode?

egr is untampered with not sure how clean though, same for throttle body but im only getting dpf fault codes.

Thanks for the help

Sounds like it hasn't been reset, local garage would need equipment to reset it. If they haven't then they would be a shonky garage.

More than likely moisture in the differential pressure sensor. I had two failures on my car.
First was changed under warranty, second failed at 100k miles, and I got one from a Ford dealer.
Easy to fit, as it sits up by the battery.

You will have to drive the car for about 20 miles under diferent conditions then the car should be fine.

Did a Volvo dealer service the car?

If not, then the additive tank counter may need resetting.

Low additive gives a message on dash, but no limp mode. I thought Id just mention this.
Good luck.
