Mine weren't exactly cheap. Hylux units, which most tout as one of the best quality-wise. Perhaps there's something else they've done to prevent the issue, who knows. But if your wipers start going crazy one day... Just replace the motor and then wire the negative to a separate ground point

OK, heres' my review of the Twenty20 projector bulbs, they're great!

Light pattern seems to be obeyed and they're a huge improvement.

What car modifications void your insurance?
When you arrange your car insurance cover you need to tell us about any modifications and optional extras on your car as not all types can be covered.

If you plan on modifying your car in any way, from adding racing stripes to having an engine remap, then you will need to let us know as this could affect the way we cover your vehicle. Ecu remapping, for example, will affect the car’s power and may cause your price to increase.

Similarly, you need to let us know about any optional extras your car may have. Any Mini or BMW owners out there are probably well aware of the incredible number of optional extras available when you buy a new car.

Brexit 2021 Update
Please note that since January 2021, the MOT Inspection manual has been updated to include LED bulbs.

Section 4.1.4 now states the following:

“Existing halogen headlamp units should not be converted to be used with high intensity discharge (HID) or light emitting diode (LED) bulbs. If such a conversion has been done, you must fail the headlamp.”

if the mot finds it (and is a correctly done and obtained mot) = fail

anyone caught driving without valid insurance ,, please do not pass go , do not collect £200 as it isnt a "5mins on the naughty step" or acceptable thing to do, no matter how much Common sense it makes,,,

(yes GRUMPY as those Without valid insurance cause massive problems for those they hit,, id "thank" all of them with a boot/balls/interface for the selfish actions,,, twice if a diesesels car :P,,, the gene pool is in enough distress with selfish self centered me me me app for that self entitled millenial labels for everything types as it is :P)

And on the flipside I value being able to see properly in the dark and not crash my car down a country lane..
