S40 turbo problem and limp mode
Hi everyone, im having problems with my 2005 s40 2.0d. Getting a p0238 turbo charger boost circuit high. Am i looking at cracked pipes, faulty wiring or a faulty map sensor? Intermittently goes into limp mode but when its not in limp mode i can definitely feel a slight loss in boost.
Any suggestions of where i could start looking for what could be causing it. Thanks |

Check vacuum pipes on Turbo Control Valve (solenoid on r/h side of engine above gearbox. If ok, I would personally try a new TCV around £40 of eBay... if the same there's probably fault with inlet side of turbo (build up of carbon from egr)
