headlap reflectors.

the other halfs 440 j reg has failed the mot on poor headlight pattern. ive had a look and both relfectors look dull and the coating is comming away.

1, can you get replacement reflectors or have them re coated? if so where abouts. ( i seem to remember my dad replacing thease on a 240 years ago.

2,if not where is the best place to get new headlamps.volvo want 80 pounds plus vat each

Try the breaker's yard. There are lots of volvo 400s in them at present, so you may be able to find a set of better headlamps on a scrapped example, which will cost very little.
