Default 960 auto propshaft centre bearing

i have a vibration on my 1993 k reg 960 auto estate, i have narrowed it down to the centre propshaft bearing, has anybody got one it would probably have to be on the propshaft so i would buy the whole propshaft, i have sourced a bearingcarrier out eurocarparts but i think the bearing comes seperate, and is from main dealer, and would be rather expensive, regards, pete

I've just done one on my 940. The bearing carrier from german and sweedish is about £25 (£100 from Volvo) and seems to be good quality. The bearing for my car was about £20 from Volvo and I think german and Sweedish did the bearings as well.

It might be better to get a whole shaft though if you haven't got access to a press or big vice to push the bearing in as it will cost to get it fitted.

brill, euro carparts quotes 37 pounds for carrier, so volvo might might be better, thanks for that, pete.

Hello Pete

If you have the inclination to come over and take it off my car you have have the carrier, bearing, and prop real cheap £20 the lot. I am in Telford Shropshire TF3 1QJ. My car is a '92 960 Auto Est. I can give you a hand, I have 4 good axle stands and a high lift jack so no need to lug that sort of stuff

Greg
