Default Anyone near north London/Enfield got a C30 T5 to show me?

Hi all

I'm on the hunt for an 09-11 C30 T5, but was just wondering if anyone has one not too far from where I live to maybe get a ride in it, to see power delivery, sound, handling, maybe learn about any quirks etc... ideally a standard or close to standard one I guess as that's what I'm after.

Big ask I know, but would be great to know in advance how they handle etc, and how a good one compares to any I might see.

Thanks all.

If you're ever down Southampton way give me a shout, you're welcome to a go in mine, granted it's an S40 T5, but it's pretty high spec, other than rear visibility they'll drive the same

Super kind offer FunkyMelon, appreciate it! I am very rarely down that way, but if that changes in the next few weeks I will definitely PM you!

If you dont get a ride in any standard ones I have a modded one and will be round heathrow area-ish next weekend.

Is an S40 not C30 though.

Thanks for the very kind offer domhart10, I've just bought one () but if I was around next weekend I'd still have tried to meet up to compare with your modded one: the next couple of weekends I'm tied up with a wedding and visiting family so not going to be able to make it

Will hopefully get some time over the bank holiday to get some pics up (after giving it a wash!)

Thanks kmb!

Will aim for some pics over the weekend. it's a 2010 white T5 with 50k miles, it's lowered on a Koni/Eibach set up with dark grey alloys. Never had a lowered car before and I'm not a fan of dark wheels but this does ride well and looks mean with those wheels... however if they ever need refurbing they're going lighter!

It's got heated seats, the fancy sound system with the big speaker in the dash, USB/Aux inputs and parking sensors; I think everything else like cruise, elec mirrors is standard R-Design spec. I wanted BT but with the lack of cars available I wasn't patient enough to wait longer! Just ordered a BT device from Amazon so I'll see how I get on with that

Other than that it's in very good condition I must admit. As yours is weighed down – and therefore slower – with all the extras you have kmb, if ever you need to swap just let me know

Only things it requires are badges for the back (not keen on any car being debadged), some black mats as the red ones in it are odd, and an exhaust as it sounds too 'normal'!

Sounds very nice, look forward to seeing the pictures! I'll accept the slower one this time, stops me jarring my old bones haha!

Mine has a Milltek Cat Back, sounds quite reserved most of the time but a bit more throaty when you accelerate quite hard. Looks well made from what I can see, so it might be what you need.
