The price of your curiosity is a coin for the old peoples home.

( a pint of Wadworth's 6X would suffice)

Cool

Afternoon Geezer, I to have all the the same problems,if someone asks me for my mobile number I give them my land line number it's easier than admitting I can't remember it. I did find yet another answer to 'what does l o l stand for, read it in a news paper. Late onset lesbian, the lady concerned had just left her husband of twenty years to marry another lady. Your idea is a good 'un.
At first sight of your post. I also thought you were an Aussie.(appoligies for that) I was going to suggest you could do us an explanation of Australian lingo according to Bazza? such as'Having a word on the big white telephone' i.e. 'A technicolor yawn'. etc. etc. Perhaps one of the natives will help out?

T T F N. Regards,Keith.

I think the forum abbreviation for that is HTRB - Holy Thread Revival Batman!

I see Rowl is a new member, and this is no judgement on them (and welcome too), but it makes me wonder how people happen upon these old threads, I can see that if you're searching for info on a car issue eg 'V70 door lock microswitches' or 'Volvo 940 non start' an internet search can drag up some old stuff, but why a thread on abbreviations or the like?

Solved that with my new mobile, I got a nice wallet style case for it, and wrote the number on the inside of the case, now if I'm asked for the number I just flip the case open and they can read it for themselves.

But why do my children (23, 28 and 32) say 'You're such an Old man dad!'?
