Default V40 P2 Cruise Control Kit

As above does anyone have a spare kit? Or know of a good place to buy without being ripped off?

Cheers

Thanks for fast reply, its a 1.8 petrol sport 2003, manual.
So easy enough to fit with no coding required?

Volvo 1.8 engine or 1.8i Mitsubishi GDI engine?

lol. The annoying VVT pulley. Definitely a Volvo engine then. The reason I was asking, is because the 1.8i GDI with the Mitsubishi engine is a completely different cruise system.

Anyway, I have a complete cruise control set that will fit on your car and a lot of photos of what goes where. I am after £50 including postage.

Haha, yes very annoying. Just bought the car quite cheap with the intention of fixing some of the problems, (just done the ignition barrel). And was quoted around £500 for the VVT at Ron Sealey in Fife. But part from that she's a good car. That sounds great, is the kit new? I had a quick browse at the instructions doesn't look too bad.

£500 for the VVT is a bit too much. ANother member here got it done at a Volvo dealership for £300. See post here: http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showpo...02&postcount=2

With regards to the cruise it is second hand. It would cost a few 100s for all the parts brand new.

Will post some photos later on tonight

Yeah I felt £500 + VAT was expensive, I never bothered getting a quote at the main Volvo dealer up here, just assumed they would be a lot.
Ron Sealey advises changing a lot more parts: pulley, solenoid, belt, oil flush and service. But seems a bit overkill.
Thanks.
