ETM Issues Discuss issues regarding the problems with ETMs fitted to Volvo cars.

VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

T5 Matt New Member Last Online: Mar 10th, 2008 21:51 Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Leicester	ETM issus on post-2002 cars ? Hi All Recently experienced erratic idling and occasional stalling on my 2004 V70 T5. As it's still under warranty, I took it back to the dealer who immediately said 'it sounds like the ETM, Sir' Had the ETM cleaned a few weeks ago but this made no difference so the car went back last Friday to have the ETM replaced. This seems to have cured the erratic idling and made the car easier to start, so I'm a happy bunny. I thought the ETM issue only affected cars to 2002, or have I just been unlucky? My car has only done 54K miles! Anyone else had similar problems? Matt
