They are pretty robust a heavy man can stand on them.

They are thick cast aluminium with forged mounting brackets.. no problem volvos dont bend :-)

Me too much more cuddly than 110kg, never had a problem .... make sure they are genuine Volvo ones as there are some cheap look-a-like ones about.
