Default 2017 XC60 R Design Lux Nav

When I was cleaning the vehicle the other day I noticed that the VIN plate on the o/s passenger door pillar listed my vehicle as an SE Lux. Is this correct? Vehicle was purchased directly from a Volvo dealer 2 years ago and has R Design badged steering wheel, door plates, etc. Is it basically the SE Lux with a few 'go faster' bits of trim added?

Many thanks

I am sure that the R Design has round tailpipes so another thing to check.
FWIW My VIN lists my SE Lux Nav as an AWD. It is 2wd.

Yes, it does have the round tail pipes. It also comes up with R Design on the dash when you unlock the vehicle. Perhaps any other members with an R design could check?

Hi just checked on my 2017 XC60 SE LUX NAV R Design 2.0 FWD and it does say only SE LUX on that plate
When I first Started looking to buy an XC60 The Memory seat was a must and the SE LUX NAV Specifications are where this becomes a standard fitting along with the NAV . The R Design part Adds Some other stuff
Oh and yes to round tailpipes and R Design light up on the dash

The leather seats in the Lux Nav are sublimely comfortable in keeping with Volvo seats of the past. R design seats just a bit more knobbly style over comfort for me.

Many thanks for the replies. It would appear then that an R Design Lux Nav is actually an SE Lux Nav with go faster bits added. Presumably they build them this way and then add then add the extra bits to order.

Maybe, although my 2015 V60 R-Design Lux Nav does not have the reversing camera that I believe would be standard on the SE Lux Nav of that model year

For info, my 67 plate SE Lux Nav did not have the rear camera, so I had it fitted by the dealer.
