  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Angry ??? help Please!!

the other day the problem started.... on my N reg 440 gs. the keyfob when i click unlock/lock works on all doors except the drivers door. but the drivers door still locks and unlocks with the key????? help please

guarantee is the door lock motor i got a few of them if you want one... but i dont relly like to send stuff as im not good at postage only good at receiveing and opening lol if your local id be happy to meet you or whatever i live in slough.

Its your door solinoid. Pick one up for a tenner a most up scrappie. I bet also when you lock all doors with the inside button that door doesnt lock also. Dead easy to replace...take door card off and the brass lock bit on side of door. Easy as!

My friend had an identical problem with his S40. Took off all door trim, couldn't see a bloody thing ( it was getting dark and no torch of course ) and I gave the mechanism an indiscriminate blast of 'W5' penetrating oil.

Spent a minute or two lifting the locking tab up and down repeatedly, and it worked a treat first time with the fob, and still does. It was only sticking. It's got to be worth a try.
