Default Can't find the alarm box on C70

I removed the right front wheel lining on my 2007 C70 and there is no alarm box there. Nor on the left side. Can anyone tell me where the box is on the C70? Thanks!

Sorry I have no idea. You might have more success in the C70 forum - this is for the Mk1 XC90. Stay safe!

Similar situation with my V60 over the last few days (weather extremely cold). Hazards coming on and neighbours complaining. Kept the car unlocked and next thing alarm is randomly going off during the night. I ended up having to get the car out of our estate and pretty much drove around until morning came and I could call Volvo. Turns out it was the “well known problem”, a faulty alarm module or ‘siren’ as Volvo refers to it. New module to fix. Have not got the bill yet but I believe it’s around €300 including labour.

Default Goosed alarm circuit board

I have just removed my alarm module and cut it open to find part of the circuit board fried.
Luckily the car can be used without it.
