Information

VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

green van man Premier Member Last Online: Apr 11th, 2024 09:21 Join Date: Nov 2012 Location: Ffos y Ffin	Being of an age to of adhered to 5000 mile services I too favour frequent oil changes. While I appreciate oils are better now than of yester year I have rebuilt enough engines to see the effect of degraded oil on bearing surfaces. Given the possibility of diesel contamination by design of volvo engines why would you run oil till end of life at 18,000. It's my car, it's my money maintains it and I'm a firm beliver in preventetive maintenance. The most beneficial thing you can do for an engine is keep the oil fresh. Paul.
