Default DPF filter/fuel in oil C30

Hi, if a DPF filter has been blocked would this cause diesel to get in the oil?

Not as I understand it.
Fuel gets into the oil when regens of the DPF fail because the engine is shut off before they are compleated. Engine needs 30 minuits at 50 mph + for a regen in normal service.

So if this happens does the oil need to be changed?

On my car I would, wether it's strictly nessesary depends on whom you ask.

I have stripped engines that had oil contaminated with petrol after a lift pump diaphragm leaked it into the sump. The big end and mains bearings were not in a good state.
Diesel is less aggressive in breaking down the oil film that protects the bearings but it still does it.

The oil has now been changed, I'll have to see how it goes. 😁
