S80 D5 SE 02 plate q's
HI GUYS.
I've got a d5 se 02 plate on hold with lattice style wheels.. a few q's as it's a way away and just want to ask a few things before i do the drive up to buy it. The alloys are lattice style .. are they 16" or 17"? And.. any idea of tyre cost? As it's an SE I understand that it has electronic drivers seat (maybe passenger i didnt ask)... but would any of you guys know if it is heated or is that part of the winter pack option.. that i'm unsure the car has. Do the rear seats only fold down a bit or can you tip the seat up and the back rest forward thus making the load space completely flat? Any other things i should watch for? It's has around 55k on the clock so i hoping it'll last me a while..... ta very Toby |

The lattice wheels are 17".
Sorry for my limited help. Heated seats are part of the winter pack.

I think im correct in saying that SE spec models came with 17's and budget tyres can be had from around £60, only the backrests fold down but it does make a flat load space, also the passenger seat back will fold forwards too to give a little more space if needed. The only problem i found with the load area was when i had to move my grandchildrens trains et base board as at 4ft x 4ft there are 2 triangular supports inboard of the wheel arches which stopped them going in the boot by about an inch! Although they did go through the back doors and stand up behind the front seats.

update
ok - i just put the deposit down ofn the car. its a black 2.4 se d5 s80 - 52k on the clock. with winter pack and rear parking sensors. i've got it with fsh and 1 years mot and warranty for £8K
I'm hoping this is a good deal.. ? Im leaving my laguna behind that was even more speced up but things were going badly wrong from about 80k and i spent my life on the phone to renault uk. so i need to buy a sat nav and i'll be up and running. its odd not to have 6 gears and i hope i'll get good mpg out of it.. who knows. anyway - any good volvo guys in hertfordshire that anyone knows of? and anything for me to check when i pick it up? ta very, T |
