Drivers seat query
After nearly 6 years or so of having my V40, I discovered two levers on the side of the seat!!! One does tilt, towards the front. The one behind doesnt seem to do owt. Anyone help out?

I think it's supposed to be lumbar support or something, I've never touched them on mine, I just use the windey thing for back tilt and that's it.

The front lever raises and lowers the front of the seat cushion. The rear lever raises and lowers the back of the seat cushion.

ITSv40: OK I'll have to try it when I'm out of the car because it didn't move when I was sat in it.
Effectively, the combo would "raise" the seat? Ta!

It is a long time since I adjusted mine, but I think the seat rises up if the levers are operated whilst the seat is empty. Then if you sit in the seat and just ease your weight off the cushion and then operate the levers it should be possible to gently push the seat down to the desired position. There are something like five or seven different settings on both front and back, so possible to finely adjust the seat to suit.

Yep, The rear lever raises the back. So short ar**s can be raised up. I can now sit much more comfortably. Well I'm blowed!
