It looks even more weird on a Lamborghini Countach, when you mount the 145 spare tire instead of the original 335...

(or something like that - don't remember exactly since it was many years ago when I saw it)

Out of interest I opened the lid of the compressor that comes with the sealant kit and I found this wonderful comprehensive set of instructions. Not sure if it is for fixing a tyre or putting an IKEA wardrobe together.

Cool

I used a space saver on the back of my 05 mondeo for about 1000 miles when I damaged a wheel! I did not comply with the speed rating for the tyre or the road!! Shortly after that I worked as a recovery patrol for a well known recovery company, the amount of people that I picked up from the side's of motorways and dual caridgeways that did not have spares! Hire car companys dont have spares, you collect them and take them to a tyre fitters! when you get a puncture it is deemed as self inflicted and you only get 10 miles of recovery or to the nearest tyre fitter!( most drivers will get you to some where that has your tyre size) If you have an odd tyre size such as 22 inch rims, or a smart car and those tyres are not available sometimes you can be taken home etc but dont bank on it!!!! and the amount of people trying to create a tyre from a can is also worrying! Tyre's been ripped off and there's a lady spraying Goo all over the floor via the valve on the rim, she was really ****ed off as "it's not working", and then you have "Run flats" these are great as long as you check the tyre pressure before you set off ,and know when you got your puncture! you can drive on them for 50 miles with a puncture, but most of the time you end up ripping the tyre from the rim in the fast lane!!!! this is just a little of what I have seen!! Power is nothing without control, I will always put the space saver on the rear, I've got a phase2 V70 and have a full size spare (non directional) in the well, but I also have cans of goo Just in case!!!! cheers Jay
