I have just had Nokian WR A3's fitted to my V50, 205/55/R16 came in at £72.90 each from mytyres, paid for and delivered with no issues to my mechanic's garage and all 4 fitted for £20, just a bit over £300 all in, they seem very good and extremely quite at all speeds on my 16'' alloys.

Put WR D3s on my V70 this winter. Let us know how you get on with yours. My experience of 4 winters with Nokians are:

They are quiet.
Very comfy ride - no tendency to tramline, but also not much feedback either.
They are economical, in terms of mpg, as well as purchase cost.
Low wear.
Awesome in snow, slush and mud.
Fine in the wet (I mean Wet - Wet, as in Micky Flanagan's Out - Out)
Not great when the roads are "greasy" (but let go progressively without "snapping")
