Just seen this on the 'bay....

Steve, do you ever stop looking at other people's 240GLTs?

Seriously though, it is v. tidy, though 123 BHP is a bit down, or does it have a catalytic perverter fitted, since Sweden's finest sporting saloon puts out 133BHP from a B230E mill?

Nice to know if it's got an auxiliary gauge pack fitted also.

Perhaps the UK market was different..... but:

My father got a brand new 240 GLT (Dark blue metalllic with the straight edge black grill) in 1984 and that one had, 130 bhp (fitted with the B230E) engine and no catalyser.

In 1986 he replaced this with a 740 GLE (in light blue metallic) which now had 131 bhp.

Previously on e-bay for £950 'buy it now'.

Another trader would appear to have bought it and given it a proper valet.

Smart move - the car looks very nice.

very nice it might look but cannot be worth £3045...nice car but way over priced....steve did you flash the cash???
