'99 Honda Accord Type R

Hi all,

Not sure this is in the right section, if not, please move!

After my recent un-forseen purchase of an S70R, and my return to Volvo ownership, my pre facelift ATR in pirates black is for sale. She has got 79k miles and really is in near mint condition inside, outside, underneath and everywhere else! It's taxed until the end of April and MOT'd until 14th May. It has good Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres all round and the wheels were refurbished not so long ago. (though both rears have VERY minor curb marks) There is full service history up to the last owner who self serviced and kept a written log of all work, service and inspection he carried out and since I've owned it I've oil serviced myself and had the cambelt and the all important auto tensioner, engine oil and gearbox oil replaced and valve clearances adjusted by Tom at TGM Racing in Fleet. There are no syncro issues. The car is standard with the exception of a K&N panel filter and the 'Little Legs airbox mod'. Inside there is a Pioneer headunit with Bluetooth handsfree and music streaming. The only real mark on the car is a minor scratch on the front bumper where some little bugger rode his bike into me while I was waiting at a junction!

I'm only selling my ATR as I've just bought a car I've always wanted but NEVER seen for sale until Saturday just gone...Sunday morning I made the 270 mile round trip to collect it!! I will be genuinely sad to see my Accord go as I've enjoyed every moment of it, but I'm afraid I just couldn't resist my temptation!

To recap, this is a genuinely clean and well looked after ATR with low mileage, all virtues that I'm afraid to say are becoming rare now! I'm offering the car at £3500. Any offers will be considered as long as they're not ridiculous, but I strongly advise you come and see the car and if a serious buyer, take it for a drive...I assure you'll be impressed!

That is lovely, I have a real soft spot for those and as you say sensible milage unmolested ones are getting hard to find. Sadly I'm not in the market for one but best of luck with the sale.
