Have a spare set, but one of the tightening bolts is missing a small plastic bit. Will try to find them tomorrow and take a photo

Does anyone have a set of these that they could measure the length of the bar on, I just got a pair advertised as V40 bars but now the seller says they're not sure, great, so they are to short for my C70 but I don't know if they are not V40 bars or if they are V40 bars but they just don't fit a C70, argh

Anybody know a good company making generic roof bars to fit the V40 like the ones in Gatos' post? Internet search is not very fruitful. Maybe I'm missing the part number or something, but it seems these bars that attach the the strips are not very common.

Halfords, Thule and probably a few more do these. They supply the 'feet' to go into the strips for cars without roofrails or rain gutters and then you buy the bars.

I think a call to Rufe would be best, so you get the correct part number and go from there.

Thanks guys. Very helpful. Thule looks good, but will turn out to be pretty expensive in the end. I think I'll keep looking for a used OEM set. If anyone has some, let me know.
